In the first half, I introduced some idioms: to have a sweet tooth (甘党), to have a green thumb (園芸の才がある), to have a heart of gold (心優しい人), to have a good head on one’s shoulders (頭の良い人), and to have one’s hands full (多忙である).

In the second half, we talked about some issues within the workforce such as overtime work.

Some terms that came up were: cream puff (シュークリーム), spiky (とげのある), morning glory (朝顔), orchid (蘭), book smart (勉強が得意な人), and street smart (世渡り上手な人).
